Code of Conduct

Please Note: This is not a skill teaching program. NEMA does not promise to mentor/teach in any specific types of play.

You must be 18 years or older to participate in the program. You must be prepared to provide proof of age to the mentorship coordinator upon request.
For the 3 month duration of the program and 3 months following, mentors and mentees are not allowed to conduct any play, that includes romantic or power exchange relationships. Mentors and mentees are allowed to “lab” or practice tying, as long as others are present. If you have a pre-existing relationship with one of the active mentors or other mentees, please communicate it to the mentorship staff.
All program members are equal here and are to be treated with respect and dignity. Do not shame, harass, or use abusive or inappropriate language with other members of the program. Violation of this respect is cause for removal from the program.
Consent is paramount to all interactions in this program. Any violation of consent will result in the violator being warned, removed, and/or banned from the program and related events and servers.
Requesting or sending explicit messages or images to any member of the program without advanced consent is strictly prohibited.
Please do not share personal information of others in the program without their explicit consent.
You will encounter individuals with opinions that differ from your own, including on topics such as politics and religion. While you may disagree with others in the program, please do so respectfully. Please note that this is not a license to express sexist, racist, ageist, homophobic, transphobic, fatphobic, etc., views whether directed at a person or spoken in general. This program does not tolerate intolerance; any intolerant language or actions may result in removal from the program.
